WHY THE TORTOISE WON THE RACE

Ever heard of the compounding effect?
According to https://www.valueresearchonline.com Compounding investment earnings can turn your small investments into a whopping sum after a period of time. The best way to take advantage of compounding is to start saving and investing wisely as early as possible.

Confused? Let me explain. In simple words, your pennies will be worth millions of dollars one day if you are consistent  in investing those as early on in life as possible. Still confused? I'll give you a few real life examples. But let me address a few issues here. You might be thinking that I've lost my marbles, or what compounding has anything to do with inspiration or success. EVERYTHING. It has got everything to do with success. Let me tell you a very interesting story.

A boy at only six years old purchased 6-packs of Coca Cola from his grandfather's grocery store for twenty-five cents and resold each of the bottles for a nickel, pocketing a five cent profit. While other children his age were playing, he was making money. He went from doorstep to doorstep to deliver The Washington Post. At eleven years old he bought a few shares under the guidance of his stockbroker father. As a teen, he also had several personal business ventures, including selling golf balls, buffing cars, selling stamps, and setting up pinball machines in barber shops. At the age of 16, he earned today's equivalent of $53,000. He was none other than The billionaire CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet.
He only  did two things differently

1.He was consistent.
2.He started early(At six!)

He worked several different jobs and was consistently investing his time, energy and money for his growth. His consistent efforts added up eventually to make him a billionaire. This is the power of compounding. Be it your efforts or money; It all adds up to something much bigger and grander than you've imagined.

All I want to say is that small investments each day will always amount to more than one huge investment once in a while. One 'miracle pill' won't take all that extra weight off your body. It'll take consistent effort at the gym and in the kitchen, from your side to dish away all the fat you've accumulated with years of giving in to sugar-filled temptations like cake.(I love cake!). Daily 10 minute workouts a month will fetch you more progress than one five-hour workout.

To maximise results even more dramatically, start as early as you possibly can. Warren Buffet started at six. You can never start too early. Beethoven gave his first public performance at Cologne at age six and composed his first work on piano at age nine! So if you're twenty one like me and reading this article, it is high time you start investing in yourself. Invest your time(however little you have), your energy(however little you have), your money(however little you have) for your growth. All that you invest today, will come back to you multiplied! So if you're a hare then wake up, because the tortoise is about to catch up: and if you're a tortoise; well, keep it up. Stay consistent and you'll eventually win. Better be slow and steady than being fast and sleepy. Wake up!

P.S. I cannot stress more on the importance of the words/phrases highlighted in the article because they are of paramount importance.

Hey guys,
I hope this article motivated you to start investing in yourself at the earliest. Now is the time to start putting all the knowledge we've learnt so far, to test. Now is the time to start working consistently towards a better tomorrow. Now is the time to start taking tiny steps daily towards the finish line. Now is the time to step into the tortoise's shoes. Consistency is key.  Hope you enjoyed today's winspiration. If you did, tell me in the comment section below how you will kickstart your day today. I'll be more than happy to respond. Until next time folks.
Lots of love,
Tanvi
